PIEMONTE WINE DISCOVERY. A JOURNEY THROUGH REGIONAL WINES

Bangkok, 4 June 2026 – The Thai-Italian Chamber of Commerce (TICC), in collaboration with Consorzio Oltre Le Alpi, successfully hosted the second edition of Piemonte Wine Discovery. A Journey Through Regional Wines, an educational event dedicated to promoting the wine varieties and wineries of the Piemonte region, particularly the renowned Langhe area, celebrated worldwide for its premium wines and rich gastronomic heritage.

The exclusive event, held in the afternoon at Embassy Room La Marina at Park Hyatt Bangkok, welcomed more than 30 guests from wine industry professionals, importers, distributors, and media representatives.

The program kicked off with a brief opening remarks by Mr. Giuseppe D’Onofrio, Project Manager of the Thai-Italian Chamber of Commerce, who welcomed participants and introduced the representatives of Consorzio Oltre Le Alpi, Mr. Dino Icardi and Ms. Alice Bertolusso. Through their ongoing commitment, the consortium continues to promote the excellence, diversity, and unique characteristics of Piemonte’s premium wine production on international markets.

During the session, guests had the opportunity to deepen their knowledge of the region’s winemaking traditions, distinctive grape varieties, and acclaimed wine appellations, while gaining valuable insights directly from the consortium’s experts.

Once again, the event stands as a testament to TICC’s unwavering commitment to promoting the excellence of Made in Italy products and strengthening cultural and business ties between Italy and Thailand through educational and networking initiatives dedicated to Italian food and wine excellence.
