Eccellenze Italiane is the quality certification program established by the Thai-Italian Chamber of Commerce (TICC) for Italian restaurants, pizzerias, and gelaterias operating in Thailand.
Launched in 2025, the program identifies and promotes operators who meet the quality standards of Italian culinary tradition, while encouraging the use of authentic Italian ingredients and products.
THE PROGRAM
The recognition is based on a structured evaluation process: the operator submits an application to the TICC and receives a visit from an authorized inspector. The assessment covers key areas including the venue's Italian identity, food and wine offering, quality of ingredients, and the professional expertise of the staff.
All collected documentation is reviewed by an independent Jury Committee, which evaluates compliance with the program's technical specifications and determines whether the quality label is awarded. The technical specifications are periodically updated by the Committee to ensure the benchmark remains aligned with the highest international standards.
