The Thai-Italian Chamber of Commerce (TICC) offers a dynamic and enriching internship program that provides students and young professionals with a unique opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience in a multicultural business environment. This program aims to foster bilateral relations between Thailand and Italy while nurturing future business leaders with a comprehensive understanding of international trade, commerce, and cultural exchange.

 

Program Overview

The TICC internship program is designed to provide participants with a well-rounded experience encompassing various aspects of chamber activities and business operations. Interns will have the chance to work closely with professionals from diverse backgrounds, gain practical skills, and develop a deep understanding of Thai-Italian business relations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Support and assist with organizing events, seminars, and trade fairs: Interns will contribute to the planning, coordination, and execution of events that promote business networking and enhance the visibility of the Thai-Italian Chamber of Commerce.

  2. Conduct research and analysis: Interns will have the opportunity to delve into research projects, market analysis, and industry trends to provide valuable insights for chamber members and stakeholders.

  3. Assist with member services: Interns will help manage member databases, handle inquiries, and provide support to the chamber's members in their business endeavors.

  4. Content creation and communication: Interns will be involved in creating engaging content for the chamber's website, social media platforms, and newsletters, helping to enhance the chamber's online presence and communication efforts.

  5. Participate in meetings and networking events: Interns will have the chance to attend meetings with chamber members, partners, and other stakeholders, fostering valuable connections and building a professional network.

Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in a university program or recent graduate in a relevant field such as business, international relations, marketing, or economics.
  • Strong communication skills in English (knowledge of Italian and/or Thai is a plus).
  • Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as in a team.
  • Passionate about international trade, cross-cultural communication, and business development.

Duration: The TICC internship program typically lasts for a minimum of three months, with the possibility of extension based on mutual agreement and performance evaluation.

Shortlisted candidates will be contacted for an interview, either in person or through video conferencing.

Every year, the Thai Italian Chamber of Commerce (TICC) internship program offers 10 students, young graduates or young professionals, the opportunity to spend a period of 3 to 6 months working on its premises. Internships with the TICC offer great opportunities for professional development and mentorship. Every intern, depending on his/her background and personal skills, will partake in research activities, event organizations, media & publication updates, and other tasks, depending on office necessities.

Currently, TICC has established partnerships with Bocconi University (Milan), Ca Foscari University (Venice), Udine University (Udine), Universita’ Cattolica del Sacro Cuore (Milan, Brescia, Piacenza and Rome), SSATI (Florence), University of Turin, and CRUI Assocamerestero internship program. However, applications from students and young professionals from other institutions are also considered.
