Middle East & Asia Group expands its coordination towards Asia and the Middle East

A new operational reference point for Italian companies looking to expand into international markets. 

On 13 February 2026, Middle East & Asia Group was officially inaugurated in Rubano (Padua) as the Organisational Secretariat in Italy for the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Singapore.

Already serving as the Organisational Secretariat in Italy for the Italian Chamber of Commerce in the United Arab Emirates and for the Thai-Italian Chamber of Commerce, Middle East & Asia Group further expands its coordination activities towards the ASEAN region with this new role.

The Group also acts as Organisational Secretariat for Axis Gateway ME, a company operating in Saudi Arabia, strengthening an integrated network connecting Italy with strategic markets such as the United Arab Emirates, Thailand, Singapore and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The objective is to provide Italian companies with structured and continuous support in their internationalisation processes, including market orientation, institutional networking, B2B meeting organisation, operational assistance and project development support.

The inauguration was attended by institutional representatives and key stakeholders from the local economic system, including Member of Parliament Arianna Lazzarini, Regional Councillor for Economic Development of the Veneto Region Massimo Bitonci, the Mayor of Rubano Chiara Buson, representatives of the Chamber of Commerce of Padua, Unioncamere Veneto, leading trade associations and representatives of Italian Chambers of Commerce operating in Asia and the Middle East.

With this development, Middle East & Asia Group reinforces its position as a territorial coordination platform supporting Italian enterprises in structured international expansion towards ASEAN and MENA markets.
