Institutional Visit: Italian Defence Attachés Visit TICC Headquarters

 

𝐁𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐤𝐨𝐤, 𝟏𝟒 𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 - The𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐢-𝐈𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐞 (𝐓𝐈𝐂𝐂) was honored to welcome a distinguished delegation from the Italian Armed Forces, featuring outgoing Italian Defence Attaché, Navy Captain 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐨 𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐬𝐢 and incoming Defence Attaché, Colonel 𝐄𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐞𝐥𝐞 𝐃𝐢 𝐅𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐜𝐨, for a formal institutional visit.

 

The delegation was warmly received by Mr. 𝐆𝐢𝐚𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐨 𝐈𝐨𝐛𝐢𝐳𝐳𝐢, Secretary General of TICC, and Mr. 𝐌𝐢𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐞 𝐓𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐚, General Manager, at the Chamber’s headquarters in Bangkok. The meeting marked a significant transitional moment, celebrating Captain 𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐬𝐢’s dedicated years of diplomatic and defense service while officially welcoming Colonel 𝐃𝐢 𝐅𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐜𝐨 as he began his new assignment in the region.

 

The visit provided an important opportunity to strengthen institutional ties and discuss areas of mutual interest, particularly in supporting Italian businesses in Thailand, enhancing maritime and technological collaboration, and maintaining the close-knit relationship between the TICC network and Italian defense authorities abroad.

TICC expressed profound appreciation for the visit, thanking Captain 𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐬𝐢 for his steadfast cooperation during his tenure and welcoming Colonel 𝐃𝐢 𝐅𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐜𝐨 to his new role. The meeting reaffirmed TICC’s commitment to cultivating strong partnerships with institutional stakeholders, reinforcing its vital role as a strategic bridge between Thailand and Italy across trade, investment, and bilateral collaboration.
