Company Background (for Business Directory): Pakarang Resort Co., Ltd, which is owned by the Sanglee family, has over two
decades of experience in the hospitality industry.
The company’s first hotel “Blue Village Pakarange Resort”, nestled in Khao
Lak’s tranquil Pakarang Beach, was opened in 1999. Following the 2004 Indian
Ocean Tsunami, the company has moved forward with strength by establishing
a much larger hotel “Apsara Beachfront Resort and Villa” in November 2007.
Since then, the family-owned business has expanded steadily.
The eco-friendly Apsara hotel currently has 255 guest rooms—195 resort rooms
and 60 villas—and has, since 2021, introduced the uniquely built KARKINOS
Beach Club. Situating right in front of Apsara hotel and overlooking the now
popular Pakarang Surf Beach, KARKINOS has attracted many visitors from all
over Thailand.
Description of products/services: KARKINOS Khao Lak is a stylish yet cozy beach club and Italian restaurant.
KARKINOS is divided into three zones: the bar, the restaurant, and the rooftop.
The bar features a selection of draft beers, natural wine, cocktails and mocktails,
and aromatic coffee. The open-air restaurant serves coastal Italian dishes,
homemade pasta, and Neapolitan pizza introduced by Chef Paolo Vitaletti.
The rooftop is a perfect spot to watch the sun set and enjoy the panoramic
Andaman Sea view. Our doors are open every day from 11:00 - 24:00 hrs.
