Company Background (for Business Directory): Founded in 1926, Ducati has been producing sport-inspired motorcycles since 1946. The history of Ducati is driven by a unique engineering talent that has always generated motorcycles of unmistakable design and most profound sporting spirit. Today, their motorcycles are characterized by high-performance engines with “Desmodromic” valve actuation, innovative design and avant- garde technology.
Ducati has a plant in Thailand, which was established in 2010. The Ducati Motor Thailand factory produces every model of the Ducati line-up, meeting the same high standards of quality achieved at the HQ in Borgo Panigale to supply Ducati motorcycles throughout the Asia Pacific region.
Description of products/services: Covering several market segments, Ducati's range of motorcycles are divided into model families which include: Diavel, Hypermotard, Monster, Multistrada, Streetfighter, SuperSport, Panigale, DesertX and Scrambler. These authentic icons of “made in Italy”, together with an extensive range of associated accessories and technical and lifestyle apparel, are distributed in over 93 countries around the world, with concentration on the European, North-
