From 13^th to 16^th Thailand will celebrate the Songkran Festival (New Year). TICC’s office will be closed during this period and we will reopen on 17th April.

On 6th April in conjunction with the Chakri Day, the day dedicated to celebrating the Royal Dinasty of the Country, TICC’s office will be closed.

Thailand Authority has also declared on 9th of April an additional public holiday to celebrate the cremation of Her Royal Highness Bejraratana Rajasuda. TICC’s office will respect the ceremony and will close its office.

Welcome to the Rbi Premium European Chambers Corporate Golf Challenge to take place on Friday 30th March at 11.30 am (designated tee time) at Bangsai Country Club. Location map

The following chambers are participating:- Belu-Thai, British, EABC, Thai-Finnish, Franco-Thai, German-Thai, Irish-Thai, Italian, Netherlands-Thai, Norwegian-Thai and Swiss-Thai

Member companies or organizations from each of the participating chambers are invited to enter pairs (ie teams of 2 players). Companies can enter more than one team (eg HSBC1 and HSBC2). Each team is asked to nominate its allegiance to one of the chambers. We then have a ‘Corporate Pairs Challenge’ in addition to a ‘Chambers Challenge’, minimum 8 players from each chamber.

BRONZE (IE ‘HOLE’) – THB 10,000 (plus VAT) per hole – 14 MAX

- Players may score a MAXIMUM 42 points

Flood prevention and water management have been a long term debate subject in Thailand. Flooding threats have been aggravated by apparent hydrologic cycle changes: dealing proactively with these threats will require changes in water management strategy and in socio-cultural attitudes. Some operative and effective advices you will learn from this Luncheon can really help governmental projects, private enterprises and singles individuals to be better prepared in case of need.

TICC encourages own members to attend the meeting and to submit the Attendance form to our office within 19th March 2012. After the AGM, dinner will be served.
 
No elections are contemplated this year but ordinary members are required to provide approval to the Chamber 2011 Financial Statement. However, should you not be able to attend the AGM 2012, you can be represented by proxy, by another member of the TICC.
 
Please be advised that under clause 5.4 paragraph 2 of the amended Constitution and Bylaws of the TICC, “an Ordinary Member may issue a proxy to another Ordinary Member to attend the meeting and vote on his behalf, but no person may hold more than one proxy from a member. The grantee who attends the meeting must show written authority and copy of identity card or passport of grantor or juristic person certificate of grantor before participating in the meeting.” 
 
Therefore, if members are going to be represented by proxy, please complete the Proxy Form with all the required information. The signed Proxy Form must be returned to TICC office by fax 02-253-9896 or by e-mail at membership@thaitch.org within 19th March 2010, by 14.00 hrs. Proxy will be processed and validated by TICC staff. (In the next days the chamber representative will receive the official letter by registered mail)
 
Please be informed that Individual and Associate Members are not allowed to vote during the AGM according to TICC Bylaw, however they are welcome to join the event.
 
Once proxy has been validated, TICC staff will inform by email ONLY each member. The person given a proxy is allowed to vote/provide approval on your behalf. Any proxy received after the 19th March 2012, 14.00 hrs. , will be considered non-valid.
 
After the Annual General Meeting, Members and No-Members are cordially invited to join the dinner.

Fees are 1,300 Bath for a member

                 1,500 bath for a guest/non-member. 

This amount is inclusive of a 3 course meal, wine and soft drink.  The fee can be paid in advance to the TICC office or at the registration desk, before the beginning of the meeting.
