The Thai-Italian Chamber of Comerce (TICC), founded in 1979, is an independent, private, non-profit organization of Italian and Thai businessmen and professionals, duly constituted and registered in accordance with legislative regulations in Thailand and fully recognized by the Ministry of Productive Activities
(former Ministry of Foreign Trade) in Italy.
The TICC’s main objective is to favor and increase bilateral economic relationships, promoting in particular the generation of business opportunities for its members.Through its membership network, the TICC provides you with the right business contacts and allows you to extend this network worldwide through Assocamerestero – the Association of Italian Chambers abroad.
Members of the TICC for the most part represent Italian businesses (run by Italian or Thai national) or are Thai professionals, entrepreneurial associations and institutions. The TICC promotes its role as a representative of the local business community and, more concretely, as a meeting point for business affairs between Italy and Thailand. The TICC’s principal functions today are tailored to the needs of several specialized sectors as following:
- To showcase investment opportunities in Thailand for Italian businesses and in Italy for Thai businesses
- To lobby with local and Italian institutional and commercial authorities and to enhance its communication network via the TICC Newsletter and Web Page
- To aid in contracting agreements between businesses and to develop a working relationship with the local business community and the diverse public and private institutions in Thailand
- To grant assistance provided by TICC members whose varied professional skills have been honored by innumerable years of experience achieved particularly in the Asian region
- To promote social and cultural activities aimed at creating a favorable environment for Italian business in the market where the TICC operates
