On the 9th of June, The Dante Alighieri Cultural Association organized a cultural tour through the Italian architectural sites in Bangkok. Its purpose was the historic recollection of the sites where Italian architects and artists played a cultural and artistic role.

The Italian architects and engineers, as well as painters and sculptors, were invited by King Rama V, at the beginning of the XX century, with the vision to turn Bangkok into the modern capital of Siam. The tour aroused great interest among Thai visitors and turned out as a very successful event.
